Seaford Community Food Closet

Seaford Community Food Closet is in need of personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, shampoo, body soap, and toothbrushes. As always, thanks for your continued support of the Seaford Community Food Closet.

The St. John’s Thrift Shop is gearing up for spring. Please keep us in mind when you are doing your spring cleaning. We accept clothing and shoes for adults and children, housewares, and small appliances. We do not accept furniture or toys. We continue to collect children’s books to be given out to every child to encourage reading. If you are interested in sorting, stocking shelves, or waiting on individuals, please let us know. We are open on Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. for donations and Saturdays 9-12 for operation.

GriefShare

GriefShare, a 13 week nondenominational grief support group is being offered at St. John’s United Methodist Church. Sessions are on Sundays beginning at 4:00 p.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. GriefShare is a biblical based program for the journey of grief and recovery utilizing video, workbook and group discussion. It is nondenominational and all are welcome. If you feel you would like to join us during this journey of grief please call the church office to register.

Seaford Community Food Closet

Seaford Community Food Closet is in need of the following items: Peanut butter, cereal, spaghettios, oatmeal, baked beans and pancake mix. We appreciate all you do. Because of your donations, we are able to help all who are referred.

Collection of Quarters

The Sunday School children are continuing their collection of quarters for the Congo children. There is a box in the Narthex, the church office, and by rooms 12A and 12B. As of February we have collected $917.22. Thank you for your participation.
